Pupil Premium Information
Meet the Team – Mrs Candice Dady Pupil Premium Champion
What I do… It is my job to ensure that all children entitled to pupil premium funding within school receive the support that they require. My role is to support teachers in identifying children’s needs, and to ensure that there is high quality teaching and provision in place to meet the needs of the children.
Who I work with… I work closely alongside the teaching staff and liaise with some parents. I coordinate my work with Miss Wright who is our SENCO. I also work with Mandy Gill who is our SEN teaching assistant who specialises in speech and language. I work with Tina Hicks our Early years teaching assistant. I work with our school Family Liason officer and Mrs Orford.
How you can contact me… My working days are Monday - Wednesday. You can call the school office on 01622 831393 to talk to me or drop in and I will see you as soon as I am available, alternatively email anytime firstname.lastname@example.org and I will get back to you.
Who I am… My name is Candice Dady and I am Pupil Premium Champion
I am a qualified teacher and have previously been a teacher, phase leader and a Teaching Assistant at the school.
Did you know that registering your child for Free School Meals means that the school gets extra money? For every child that is registered for Free School Meals, the school receives £1320. It will also make the following eligible for your child:
A Free School Meal (although the child does not need to take a school dinner)
Help with the cost of school trips
Targeted support if they require any extra help.
Please note that children in Key Stage 1 who are entitled to a Free School Meal under the government’s Universal Infant Free School Meals Scheme do not receive the additional benefits listed above, as the school does not receive the additional funding.
